The east end sits closest to Hot Springs, so it fills up first on summer weekends. State park slips and Echo Canyon boats live in full sun most of the day, and the hard-water band shows up quickly on hulls that stay in. A recurring wash program does the most good here, with correction when the gelcoat has already gone flat.
